I am always drawn to the sparkles on water when the sun is setting and try to include something passing thru it.

The geese always present at this lake and unlike our geese near our home were very use to people so I could get close.

One morning I got up early and captured the fog coming off the lake. Hubby was always the first one out.

There were many lakes in the area that I explored on my mountain bike. All alone discovering new beautiful places.
One evening while going for a walk I discovered a rope swing off a big old tree. Ok always drawn to the sparkles.

Wow did that ever look like fun. Yes I tried it also twice. I just had to do it, forget how old, fat and out of shape I was. I did get full swing out but my shoulders and hands just couldn’t hold on. No that’s not me in the photo.

Always inspired by other photo blogger, even with my little camera I have tried panning with a moving subject. So in the late evening light trying to pan with the boat I got this shot that looks very ghostly.

Summer is now long over and I know fall colors are already showing up, but I really wanted to share these special moments and photos from summer. So as the sun set on this summer evening I bid farewell to summer memories.

May you also see, feel, experience or capture those special moments in your life and also have

Superbe!
There was a place in Washington state where father lived called Davis lake.
Much like what you show here, some fishing, nice scenery and great sunsets.
Thanks
I am flashing the green eyed monster here Carrie, it all looks just so wonderful, the scenery the wild life and that super duper camper, I think you are one lucky lady, thanks for sharing.
Carrie, this is a gift for all of us. Every picture is priceless and beautiful beyond my imagination.
When I reached a magical moment with the fog, light and geese. I wanted so much to be in this place and see it. I have never been in such beautiful places.
And I have never seen the fog coming off the lake.
You are such a great camper and you and nature are in complete harmony.
Amazing and absolutely breathtaking pictures. I love them all!!!!!
Great photography, Carrie. Thank you for sharing your beautiful memories of summer.
So many lovely photos. It was hard to pick out my favorite. I really like the sparkles, too. Perhaps the blue geese. Looks like you had a wonderful summer.
Delicious fall colors. I like this station for its beautiful light
Those are some good photos of beautiful colors, great shots! They are all lovely but the first and the bar is very mysterious.
Everyone thank you for you visits. I am having problems commenting on certainy blogs right now. Actually for about a week now. I hate this as I would rather be out commenting instead of trying to figure out my problem here. So it may be awhile before I get it fixed as I tend to avoid these issure as the consume so much of my time. Have a wonderful week. Hugs Carrie
All I can said what a wonderful scenery for your surround area,

Michiko
Yeah why does the computer and blogging consume us! I hope you figure it out soon. I loved all your photos. My favorite is the one of your husband in boat on blue waters. He looks like he is sleeping, but I know he is baiting his hook! Such loveliness Carrie. I admire your photography so much.
AND you are the woman that lives in a log cabin, cans her food, adventurous. I would not think a bear would stop you. But maybe you are more experienced in the wild than I am. Thanks for your comments.
Hi Carrie, I have to say you captured some magical moments and so very beautiful. I dont know why you call it your
Little Camera
when in fact its not the camera that does the job. It the person making it work and that is you. So my dear your images are magic and take some credit. I sold one of my cameras and intend on putting that money to good use. I dont need them all. I need one. However . I loved your blog. Full of peace and so much so.
Love the Diamonds on the water.
You and your Camera are magic together.
I still have work outside to do and it will come little by little. Im not stressing about it or anything else.
Loved your blog
Hugs my friend.
When do you head South for the Winter.?
Hi Carrie, First of all I want to tell you that I love your header. It is like a Beautiful painting. What a great composition. You make Beautiful pictures with your camera in hand. :)
I must say that your photos reflect what a wonderful, relaxing, fun time you had camping at the lake. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and that is true, but I also enjoyed reading every word as you described some of the things you did and saw, and captured with your camera. I love each and every one of these photos with the sparkles on the water, the fog, and sunsets, and so on. They all look so peaceful, and wonderful. Makes me wish I were there.
Happy Thanksgiving Carrie
Hugs Dianne :)
